About
Editorial policy
Published 2026-09-06 · Glitz Editorial desk · editor.glitz@gmail.com
Glitz is a monthly architecture and interiors magazine published by The Neptune Glitz from Bhubaneswar. Features on glitzmagazines.in are selected by the editorial desk — not by an algorithm, and not by the practice that submits the work. We do not currently publish a named editor-in-chief on this site. Correspondence, corrections, and pitches go to the desk email above. Project pages credit the design firm and, where we have it, the principal designer; that byline is the practitioner’s, not a staff journalist’s.
What we publish
We publish built architecture, interiors, and landscape that can be photographed and credited. We look for a clear idea — especially climate, craft, and construction in an Indian city — not a moodboard. A typical project page carries a narrative, a facts panel (location, year, areas, firm), and a gallery. Interviews are conversations with architects and designers, usually drawn from the print magazine. Awards are a separate, timed programme with fees, anonymous jury sheets, and published results.
How a project gets on the site
- Creator subscribers may submit built work through the account flow. Print features may also be commissioned or invited by the desk.
- Editorial reviews every submission. You cannot self-publish. Work can be accepted, returned with notes, or declined.
- Accepted work appears at
/project/[slug]and may be grouped into a city hub and a studio page.
Practical limits (image counts, word counts, plan types) are in Projects help.
Awards are not the gallery
An award entry is a competition submission with an entry fee and a jury process. A project submitted to the gallery is an editorial feature request. Winning an award does not automatically publish a gallery project; a gallery feature does not enter you into an award. See Awards help and open calls.
Independence and advertising
Advertisers and awards sponsors do not select features. Product coverage in print is labelled as such when it is supplied. Media-kit enquiries go through Advertise, not the editorial inbox.
Corrections
If a name, credit, area, or location is wrong, write to editor.glitz@gmail.com with the project URL and the correction. We update the live page when the facts check out. We do not silently rewrite a feature to match a later renovation unless we note the date.
How to pitch
For a gallery feature, use the Creator submit flow so we have images and facts in one place. For an interview, award partnership, or a print-only story, email the desk with a one-paragraph idea and the city. Unsolicited PDFs without photographs of a finished building are rarely enough.
