About the award

Instituted by Glitz Architecture & Interiors Magazine to recognise outstanding talent in the built environment.

Now in its tenth edition, the Design Honour is one of India's longest-running peer-reviewed architecture and interiors awards. The award celebrates designs that are original, innovative, contextual, and sustainable — evaluated by a distinguished panel of eminent architects and designers. All entries are coded for anonymity before reaching the jury.

How it works

A two-stage jury. All entries anonymous.

Upload to glitzmagazines.in or email. Max 6 A3 sheets in landscape PDF. 50MB limit.

Coding for anonymity

All entries are coded. No names on sheets. Jury evaluates work, not reputation.

First jury review

First jury evaluates all entries and nominates 5 finalists per category.

04

Final jury

Finalists presented to the Final Jury for ultimate selection of winners.

Winners announced

At the gala award ceremony. Ranchi, October 11, 2025.

Published in Glitz

All winners featured editorially in Glitz Magazine and glitzmagazines.in.

Eligibility

Who can enter the Design Honour.

Architects, designers, design firms and organisations with a registered address in India with active operations.
Only completed projects from the last 3 years are eligible for nomination.
An architect or designer may submit up to 3 entries per category.
Registration fee of ₹5,000 per entry is applicable.
Participants must submit an evidential document or declaration about the project.

Design brief and conceptual-level sketches / ideas
Architectural drawings: site plan, floor plans, sections, elevations
Actual photographs — 3D renderings are not acceptable
Technical details and analysis · Materials and other details
Maximum 6 A3 sheets · Landscape format · High-res PDF · 50MB max
Sheets must show project name, location and sheet number. Name of designer must NOT appear on sheets.
Separate Word file with architect profile, design brief, project details + profile photograph.
All files in one folder: Category_ProjectName_Location_DesignerName · Submit as .zip (50MB max)

About the award

Recognising women who have made substantial contributions to the design profession in India.

The Tejomaya Award places special emphasis on originality, innovation, contextual sensitivity, and sustainability. It seeks individuals who not only demonstrate strong creative vision but also inspire and cultivate responsible, meaningful, and forward-thinking design practices. The award celebrates women who elevate the overall quality of the design landscape in India. All submissions are presented anonymously to the jury.

Submission guidelines

What your entry must include.

Categories 1–6: Design brief, conceptual sketches, architectural drawings, actual project photographs (no 3D renderings), technical details.
Category 7 (Young Achiever): Curated selection of architectural / interior design works, writings, photography and notable achievements.
Category 8 (Design Journalism): Selection of published architectural or interior design articles, research papers, with links or screenshots of online publications.
Category 9 (Product Design): Detailed account of product USPs, applications, operations and achievements through an architectural or interior design lens.
Maximum 6 A3 sheets · Landscape PDF · 50MB total. Participant or firm name must NOT appear on sheets.
All files compiled into one folder: "Category Name_Participant's Name_Location"
