The inaugural Lighting Design Honours — The First Light of a Legacy.
GLITZ Design Honour for Creative Excellence 2026, instituted by GLITZ architecture & interiors magazine, recognises outstanding talent in architecture, interiors and landscape design, celebrating the innovative and visionary minds that shape our built environment.
GLITZ architecture & interiors magazine invites entries from lighting designers for this maiden edition of the Lighting Design Honours 2026.
The award focuses on designs that are original, innovative, contextual and sustainable. Entries are submitted online on this site.

Eligibility
- 1
Open to architects, designers, design firms and organisations with a registered address and operations in India.
- 2
Only completed projects from the last three years are eligible.
- 3
A designer may submit up to three entries per category.
- 4
Registration fee of ₹5,000 per entry, with evidential documents or a declaration about the project.

- Conceptual-level sketches / ideas
- Actual photographs (3D renderings are not applicable)
- Technical details / analysis
Submission format
- 1
Maximum of six A3 sheets, landscape, as a high-resolution PDF.
- 2
Sheets must show project name, location and sheet number — not the participant or design-firm name (entries are judged anonymously).

A separate Word file with firm profile, project details and the architect/designer’s profile, plus a profile photograph.

Put all files in one folder titled: Category name_Project name_Location_Name of Architect / Designer / Design Firm.

Upload as a .zip (maximum 50 MB).
How entries are judged

Entries are checked for completeness and eligibility.
- 3
Complete entries are coded for anonymity and prepared for the jury.
- 4
A panel of eminent architects and designers evaluates the work.
- 5
The first jury nominates five finalists in each category.
- 6
Finalist entries go to the final jury, which selects the winners.
- 7
Winners are announced and honoured at the gala award ceremony.
