Ashmi Shah

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Ashmi Shah is an interior designer par excellence with over 20 years of experience. She completed her diploma in interior design from L.S. Raheja, Bandra, and began her career with Nabar Architects and Vaibhav & Gauri Architects in Mumbai. After moving to Hyderabad, she joined ID Supraja Rao at Design House before co-founding Amit & Ashmi Shah Architects and Interior Designers in 2005, which was rebranded as F.Quad Architecture & Interior Design Studio in 2018, alongside her husband, Amit. Ashmi’s design philosophy focuses on creating client-centric and sustainable designs that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetics. Her contributions have been instrumental in the firm completing 500+ projects across various sectors. In addition to her professional achievements, Ashmi has been a prominent figure in social causes. She served as the Co Chair (2022) and Chair of the Accessibility Vertical for Young Indians (Yi) in 2023-24, advocating for inclusivity in design, and is currently leading the Climate Change Vertical, focusing on sustainable and environment friendly practices. An adventurer by spirit, Ashmi has successfully completed treks to Sandakphu Peak in 2022, Everest Base Camp in 2023, and most recently, the Chhattisgarh Jungle Trek in January 2025. These adventures reflect her leadership, creativity, and drive to explore and embrace new challenges.
