A people-centric museum blending landscape, culture, and contemporary design
Located along Bailey Road in Patna, the Bihar Museum, designed by Maki and Associates in collaboration with Opolis Architects, reimagines the museum as an open, inclusive, and evolving cultural landscape. Conceived as a “museum of the people,” the project moves beyond the idea of a singular monumental building, instead unfolding as a campus of interconnected pavilions embedded within a lush site.
