Set amidst Goa's undulating landscape, Estate de Marissa by ARA Designs is a thoughtful interpretation of tropical living where vernacular architecture meets contemporary refinement. Designed by Amey Dahanukar, the 8,000 sq. ft. residence embraces its natural setting through a design philosophy rooted in material authenticity, spatial fluidity, and a deep respect for local architectural traditions. Rather than treating architecture as a purely functional exercise, the residence is conceived as a sensory experience. Every design decision responds to the site's terrain, climate, and cultural context, creating a home that feels inseparable from its surroundings. Carefully oriented to maximise natural ventilation, daylight, and panoramic views, the villa establishes a gentle progression from public gathering spaces to intimate private retreats.
