Project Narrative
Spread across three expansive floors connected by a landscaped passage, the apartment presented both challenges and unique opportunities. The double-height volume on the nineteenth and twentieth floors introduced grandeur and openness to the living and dining areas, necessitating thoughtful spatial planning to maintain functionality. Crafting seamless connections between public and private zones while introducing bespoke elements- such as the sculpted concrete staircase railing and cylindrical wall paneling- helped define a unified design language. A 48-foot-long passage marks the entry experience, overlooking the lift lobby and connecting the landscape to the primary living zone.
The lower level hosts the living and dining area, a mandir, the kitchen, powder room, and the parents’ suite. The first floor accommodates the guest room and a son’s bedroom, both designed with attached bathrooms and overlooking the double-height space through full-height glass panels. The second floor offers four private rooms, including a master suite with a terrace, a daughter’s room, another son’s room, and a den, each crafted for comfort, privacy, and subtle elegance.
The interiors across the triplex reflect a strong Nordic design influence- clean lines, organic forms, and uncluttered spaces that evoke serenity. The palette of alabastrine white, taupe, and earthy neutrals creates a light, airy ambience enriched by natural materials such as Italian marble, granite, and limestone. Thoughtfully selected furnishings- velvets, linens, woolen hand-tufted rugs, and bespoke pieces- add warmth and texture while maintaining visual calm. Signature design moments such as the book-matched marble wall, sculpted staircase, and cylindrical paneled surfaces elevate the aesthetic with sculptural depth and quiet drama.
Crowning the residence is a 3,000 sq ft landscaped terrace featuring a glass house, open kitchen and bar, kitchen garden, multiple seating pockets, and a fountain. Grappa hardwood decking, limestone flooring, and black stone accents enrich the outdoor material palette. This lush oasis seamlessly extends the philosophy of slow living outdoors, creating an inviting space for leisure and gatherings.
