Project Narrative
The design concept stems from the idea of creating a tranquil cocoon within the urban grid. A muted, earthy palette forms the base, enriched with soft pastels, natural textures, and wooden tones that lend warmth and a sense of calm. Materials like light-toned veneer, mango wood, and marble flooring build a language of simplicity, while carefully chosen art and décor add quiet sophistication.
The open-plan layout blurs the lines between the living and dining zones, making the home feel more expansive and connected. The living room, flooded with natural light through full-height sheer curtains, features a plush velvet sofa in slate teal, pastel cushions, and abstract ottomans that add visual softness and movement. A minimal floating TV console with display niches subtly integrates utility with design aesthetics.
A defining element of the space is the serene Buddha installation at the entrance, perched on a custom fluted console and backed by wooden vertical slats. It anchors the energy of the home, creating an immediate sense of calm and spiritual grace as one enters.
Indoor plants, curated art, and handcrafted accessories add life and a personal narrative throughout the home. The dining area maintains this theme with a solid wood table, salmon-hued chairs, and ambient pendant lighting, setting the tone for warmth and intimacy.
Pastel Dew is more than just an interior project—it’s an emotional and sensory experience designed to offer daily respite. It beautifully weaves functionality with minimalism, comfort with elegance, and creates a space where urban stress dissolves into serene, timeless living.
