Completion Date : 31st January 2024 Project Designer : Pan Intellecom Ltd AV & Audio Consultant : Pan Intellecom Ltd The Jhansi Space Museum project was initiated by Mr. Avanish Rai, IAS, the then Municipal Commissioner/CEO of Jhansi Smart City Ltd., who envisioned creating a world-class museum in Jhansi. The goal was to match global standards in space museums. Pan Intellecom, renowned for crafting immersive experiences, after winning the competitive bid eagerly took on the challenge to create this museum from scratch on a turnkey basis. The client required an unprecedented experience using the latest technology and immersive content. Pan Intellecom Ltd's technical team developed the museum's concept along with the detailed design in line with the end customer’s vision. Their mission was to present the vast subject of the Universe in an engaging and accessible manner for young visitors, incorporating insights from subject matter experts. The museum features a variety of advanced technologies, including kinetic models, blended projections, projection mapping, holograms, multi-surface immersive experiences, full dome projection, LED walls and screens, interactive screens, and immersive games. These elements collectively provide a comprehensive and captivating visitor experience. Key modifications during the development included redesigning of the reception area, incorporating a model of Chandrayaan 3 after India's successful moon landing, and transitioning to independent holographic projections for enhanced interactivity. The project involved meticulous planning to synchronize the building's physical structure with the technological requirements, addressing challenges related to logistics, system delicacies, and installation complexities. Extensive research, including visits to international science centers and planetariums formed the concept design. The museum stands as a testament to innovative efforts, offering a rich and enlightening experience that highlights both historical and modern astronomical achievements.
