GLITZ TEJOMAYA Award for Women in Design 2026

In celebration of the remarkable achievements of women in the field of design, GLITZ Architecture & Interior Magazine is proud to announce the 3rd edition of the GLITZ TEJOMAYA Award for Women in Design 2026. We cordially invite women architects, interior designers, and design professionals to submit their entries for this prestigious honour. The award aims to recognise and celebrate architects and interior designers who have made substantial contributions to the design profession, fostering excellence that elevates the overall quality of the design landscape in India. We seek individuals who not only demonstrate a strong creative vision but also inspire and cultivate responsible, meaningful, and forward-thinking design practices. The awards place special emphasis on originality, innovation, contextual sensitivity, and sustainability across all submissions. Participation is simple—entries must be submitted online. A submission will be considered valid only if it fulfils all eligibility criteria. ________________________________________ TEJOMAYA AWARD FOR WOMEN IN DESIGN 2026 CATEGORIES: 1. Architecture: Residential (Bungalows, Villas, Farmhouses, etc.) 2. Architecture: Residential (Apartments, Condominiums, etc.) 3. Architecture: Commercial 4. Interior Design: Residential (Bungalows, Villas, Farmhouses, etc.) 5. Interior Design: Residential (Apartments, Condominiums, etc.) 6. Interior Design: Commercial 7. Young Achiever 8. Design Journalism 9. Product Design 10. Lifetime Achievement Honour NOTE: ‘Commercial’ is an umbrella term that includes all non-residential design categories such as office, retail, hospitality, institutional, and allied typologies. ________________________________________ ELIGIBILITY: • Architects, designers, design firms, and organisations with a registered address in India and active operations within the country are eligible to participate. • All entries will be reviewed for completeness and compliance with eligibility criteria. • Only completed projects from the last three years are eligible for nomination under the respective categories. • An architect or designer may submit up to three entries per category. • A registration fee of Rs. 5000/- per entry is applicable. • Participants must submit an evidential document or declaration pertaining to the project. ________________________________________ SUBMISSION CONTENT: For Categories 1 to 6 • Design brief • Conceptual-level sketches / design ideas • Architectural drawings • Actual project photographs (3D renderings are not permitted) • Technical details / analysis For Category 7 – Young Achiever • Maximum age: 30 years as of March 2026 • Submission to include a curated selection of architectural and/or interior design works, writings, photography, and other notable achievements. For Category 8 – Design Journalism • A selection of published architectural or interior design articles, research papers, along with links or screenshots of online publications. For Category 9 – Product Design • A detailed account of the product’s USPs, applications, operations, and achievements, viewed through an architectural or interior design lens, along with highlights of the product range. ________________________________________ SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: What to take care of while uploading the entry • A portfolio of maximum 6 A3 sheets (landscape format) in high-resolution PDF, not exceeding 50 MB in total. • The name of the participant or design firm must NOT appear on the sheets. All entries will be coded to maintain jury anonymity. • Prior to uploading, all PDF sheets, word files, and photographs (if any) must be compiled into one folder, titled strictly in the following format: “Category Name_Participant’s Name_Location” • The portfolio should present a comprehensive overview of the participant’s contributions to the design industry to date, including both practical and academic engagements. ________________________________________ HOW TO UPLOAD THE ENTRY: • Visit www.glitzmagazines.in • Subscribe to ‘GLITZ Tejomaya Women in Design Award 2026’ • Register and complete the online form • Log in to your personal dashboard • Upload your portfolio, documents, and photographs within the 50 MB limit • Can also email: glitz.tejomaya.awards@gmail.com ________________________________________ WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: • Entries that do not meet the eligibility criteria will be deemed invalid. • All valid submissions will be presented anonymously to a distinguished jury panel for evaluation. • Winners across all categories will be announced and honoured at a grand award ceremony.
